Steve Anderson is the founder and president of the Total Patient Service Institute (www.TotalPatientService.com) which specializes in implementing the highest level of patient service, communication skills, and management systems in dental practices.

Over the last twenty years he has spoken at every major dental meeting, conducted hundreds of seminars, worked with thousands of dental practices to increase their productivity, written over one hundred articles for dental industry publications, authored five books, and produced dozens of audio and video learning programs.

In 1995, he co-founded the Crown Council (www.CrownCouncil.com), a worldwide affiliation of leading dental practices. Through the Crown Council, he co-founded the Smiles for Life Foundation (www.SmilesForLife.org), which has raised over $25 million dollars for children’s charities world-wide.  He was named the 2005 “Dental Businessman of the Year” by Excellence in Dentistry.

Early in his career, he formed a creative partnership with the late Walter Hailey.Together they created Dental Boot Kamp which rapidly became one of dentistry’s most popular case acceptance resources in the ‘90’s and early 2000’s.

He is the founder of the LEAP Youth Foundation (www.LEAPfoundationUSA.org), which provides week-long programs for high school and college age students helping them get a “leap” on the competition in their career and their life. He is also the author of The 13 Biggest Mistakes Parents Make and How to Avoid Them (www.MistakesParentsMake.com), which contains tips for parents based on his many years of working with youth to improve their success.

He is President of the Ft. Worth Chapter of The Young Presidents’ Organization, Past President and Founder of the San Antonio Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization and a 1997 Finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year contest.

Steve and Cheryl, his wife, are the parents of six daughters and live in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
