SYNERGY: A Clinical Course in Smile Design and Reconstructive Care

THE GOAL:
The goal is to develop mastery of aesthetic and functional dentistry, creating the opportunity to explore vast options of multi-disciplinary care, prosthetic possibilities, and patient management by focusing on oral rehabilitation and long term functional success. Following this course, you’ll be able to aesthetically treat a complex restorative or prosthetic case and you will have developed a working knowledge of resources to use in diagnosis and case planning.

You will learn the latest techniques in bonded ceramics, smile design, and a comfortable, stable occlusion, that results in the ultimate in beauty and function.

3 WEEKEND - 8 DAY LIVE PATIENT COURSE:

In this power packed 3 weekend course, you will treatment plan and treat a full mouth rehabilitation under the guidance of a clinical mentor. We teach an anterior to posterior directed rehabilitation with a full dentition. Each participant will prepare and restore 8-20 units during the course.

Advanced Occlusion, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

Diagnosis of the complete masticatory system, and the complex wear patient

Advanced deprogramming and condylar stabilization

Case analysis and Case design

Weekend #2: October 15-17, 2010

Advanced Smile Design and Full Mouth Preparation

Case Typing & Logistics in Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Avoiders and Destroyers

The How-to in normalizing VDO

How to handle the pre-prep and preparation sequencing

Myofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders including

Weekend #3: November 19-20, 2010

Advanced Case Delivery and Finishing

Case finishing and post insertion sequencing

Alternative therapies for alternative patients (long-term pain management)

Suggested Pre-requisite:
Ultimate Occlusion Course (by Aesthetic Masters, Hornbrook Group or PAC~ Live or others to be reviewed by instructors.) and an Aesthetics Program that has included a live patient hands-on component.
